Hohenschwangau Castle is a 19th century palace in southern Germany. It was the childhood residence of King Ludwig II of Bavaria and was built by his father, King Maximilian II of Bavaria. It is located in the German village of Hohenschwangau near the town of Füssen.

Antonio - Be it ever so humble, there is no place like home! lol I like the point of view for this image, it encompasses the scale of the castle and gives it the imposing impression that a castle should have. The hillside, trees and sky frame the castle well in this photo. Color saturation works well also. Thad
