The 60 hp Mercedes-Simplex touring limousine became the top-of-the-range Mercedes model in 1903. As Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschft's most powerful automobile, it was also successful in motor racing, although as a version with a shorter wheelbase and modified body.

I suspect some people had one of these take them to Southampton, UK over a 100 years ago to board the fateful Titanic, Doc.

This is a lovely capture of this Classic car. I had to smile when I saw the cranking handle at the front as it reminded me of a neighbour when I was a child, going out early in the morning having to crank start his car and the noise it made!! ha ha Not sure what sort he had, but we are talking about the early sixties.(Showing my age now!!) Great capture and its nice to know people are still out there looking after these great old cars. Well done!
