When my September holidays, visiting an old town in France named Le Puy en Velay (Classed worl heritage by Unesco)I found a wonderful Cathedral placed on one of the various Ways to Santigo de Compostela (St. James). Inside the Cathedral I "discovered" this beauty called Chapelle d' Hiver Autel du St. Sacrement where in winter was used as a more comfortable place to the religious ceremonies.

It looks so very old. The beautiful golden altar area contrasts so well with the plain stone and wood.
I like the long view of this interior which does indeed look very cosy and a warm winter gathering place.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
