I think this shot has a lot of potential. If you composed it so that the lamp was between windows it would look even better than it does now. I like the architecture here, it’s gotta be in England surely? I also like the puzzling nameplate.

Nice shot. I agree with the suggestions made above, but would add the caution to watch your verticals; that lamppost has a definite lean to starboard.. :-) Also, in case he doesn't catch your question, trisbert wrote "nameplate," not "template," and was certainly referring to the plaque with "108 Steps."

there is actually 108 steps leading upto that house - ive counted! regarding the other sign, i think it means no parking , there may be pedestrians about - sounds silly -
