hey its not so gloomy thers plenty of light at the back lol
i love the effect the black and white is good and works really well for the texture of the bricks and the road, i wish the background wasnt quite as blown out, but apart from that minor whine its a pretty neat shot, well done.

Not gloomy at all. That so reminds me of being a kid and walking to school in Macclesfield but there again it could any one of many towns in The North of England. An excellent and evocative shot.
