Very interesting capture of the city through the mist and from afar. Well done and thanks for sharing this one.

The color of the water is what drew me into this picture at first, and the mist seems to be something you do very well, as I visited your gallery and noticed that you have one other well-composed misty picture as well as this one. Since I know nothing at all about Venice, except for the water highways, I wondered what those carefully placed items were protruding from the water, and to answer my own question, I'll guess and say they are lights of some sort. ?? At any rate this is a nicely treated upload and does a lot to perpetuate the myths and mind pictures I have of Venice...thanks for such a carefully taken and beautifully presented pic :)PJ

It is interesting, but I would like it more with much less sky and more of the closest pylon. The mist looks more like pollution to me, so it's not very attractive in my eyes. Way to go though for getting this from a moving boat!

Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb. - Churchill
