Remember the rhyme, Star bright, star light, 1st pink star I see tonight? These Phlox blossoms were growing at my son and daughter-in-laws house. I took the pic at 7pm when the sun was low in the sky. The center blossom was almost wide open and looked just like a star. Other blossoms were still growing and it looked like half of a ball. Thanks for looking. Terry : {)

Lovely pinks you've captured here. I like the one in the middle especially because of the fact that it does look just like a star :)

When I was a little girl (well, until the age of 15teen really) my mother forced to me to wear pink clothes. I truly hated them and always wanted to wear black. I look really silly in pink. But it seems that pink isn't a silly color at all - and it looks beautiful especially with flowers. This photo only confirms this thought :)

Nice capture of the Phylox blossoms. I like the deep pink color on the top.

I think what's not quite perfect here is the lighting. I'd like to see it in full sunlight or more of the dappled effect. The dappled effect is interesting, but you have basically a big shadow across the center of the shot.
