I would of used flash. By using flash it wouldnt of takin away anything from the effect you were going for. The flash would of looked like moon light on the water. This is still a decent capture.

very nice image ... the flash effect though it looks as though they were a bit far away from the water to have a flash show up ... (maybe on a ship it seems) ... kind of "high" plane for the water to be at sea level. ^^
