I know this shot isn't extremely sharp and that it is dark, but I think it's still tells a story. This is a shot from a beach in Pensacola, FL. It was taken on June 29th, 2010. If you're wondering what the black stuff is, well, that's from the famous oil spill. The beach was covered with it (it's all cleaned up now). I found this tiny ghost crab digging out a little hole for itself, totally oblivious to the oil surrounding it.

The shot did need the story. Not a bad shot only wish I had seen it earlier. Thanks for sharing.

Good focus on crab... I think you can improve your composition by cropping the image..nice job!

A nice capture of this tiny crab setting up house. I like the depth of field you've used with the focus being on the crab and the rest of the shot being blurred. It would be nice if it were sharper. Good work and thanks for sharing.

I saw the devastation on the beach.. We couldn't go to the beach anymore.
It was a terrible situation for the wildlife. I am so glad it's finally cleaned up.
