Something like this has to be so scary. However, it is a striking view with the sun behind the smoke. The trees and rock provide a nice silouette. A 1280X1024 resolution would have been much better. Nice capture.

It's always challenging to find beauty in something that can be so devistating, but this moment that you captured is definitely beautiful. The sun coming from behind the smoke lends a lovely light and is almost saying, "the fire won't last for ever, but then sun will always be there every day". Thanks for sharing this.
