In the thumbnail, I wasn't sure I was going to like this upload, but in full size, up pops the colors of the rocks and the reason it's called the Fire Road. It's absolutely lovely. The road speaks for itself as it wanders away from the viewer and the sky is crystalline blue with perfect gradation. I feel like I've been here before ????
MS Phasmid is right. The thumbnail does not do this justice. The download is something that will capture one's attention for a long time. It's a keeper.

very nice... I like how you did not completely center the road, it makes me feel like the road is really coming in from behind me and then continues into the distance. Nice work!
Stunning shot, agree with Michael above that the selection of that piece of road makes the pic very dynamic, easy to imagine driving right along there. The deeeeep blue of the sky bothers me a bit; I've seen it a lot in desert photos of the American Southwest. I've been in the area myself and I don't remember the sky being quite that intense, ditto the red rocks; but maybe the camera sees it that way. Nice composition, great desktop.
