...picking up the colors of the waning spring sun as it meandered its loving way across the scene. It was warm and things were melting fast this day. I was struck by the delicate hues, and so was my camera.

Pretty shot PJ! It's nice to see the changes of the seasons taking place. Especially when it's winter to spring! This pic. shows that story well here! Nicely done Ms. Phasmid!

Lovely birches and nice composition, but aren't you concerned about the blizzard coming our way tomorrow? LOL though I don't know why'd I'd be laughing. Maybe the weathermen are just joking. I hope it's gone two hours later. And I couldn't wait for snow just a while back! Go figure.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Birches are so beautiful. Ive seen photos like this with Pinto horsies hiding behind these trees in the snow, most lovely. But I love this one of yours too.Such texture and the lovely white of the tree and the snow. The only thing I might suggest would be to take out the black line across the top..but even with it there, its still a winner of a picture..Verena

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings: And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes. We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not. Yet so the universe was wrought . Thought is another name for fate. Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
