I have no idea what these flowers are called except that they are roses. I loved the edges that look as though they had been touched with a smidgen of burnt umber..one of the colors that I have always been intrigued with. If someone recognizes the arrangement as similar to "Purple Haze" it is because I shot it at the UNH Flower show by the same arrangement artist. Ain't Artists Great? Nudge...Nudge... I know I have certainly met more than a few here :)

Looks like a 'bed of roses'! I saw some of these the other day at the market and I just had to look at them for some time. What an amazing and stunning variety of rose these are! Great post of these beauties, PJ!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

These are beautiful. Just outside of my front door, I have a varigated rose that is orange, pink and yellow and it is my favorite, these remind me of it. Of course with the lousy weather we have been having in Colorado, I won't see it for some time so I will enjoy yours til then!
