They were Jen Melons born this morning in a misty rain. So as soon as the skies stopped crying I ran out and took their first and probably last picture before they leave tonight.

These look really great! I like that ruffled look of the petals, the strong orange yellow colour and those fine drops from the misty rain.

That's just about the ultimate flower picture. The viewer can almost feel the texture of the petals.

A perfect outline against the background, well mixed colors too - the dark green seems to dissolve into the golden color of the flowers.
