Nope..it's a kayak, but I got the title stuck in my head and decided to use it anyway. This is Echo Lake which is situated in Franconia Notch. It's one of the coldest lakes I've ever had a chance to stick my toes in !!
What a spot. Faved right away.
The next time i need to meditate i am going here. lol
The photo itself has all the elements of a perfect summer camp idealized. The color the clarity the composition are all some of your best.

Canoe canoe?? (Remember the ad for the cologne?? :0) That bright blue sky and 'canoe' are just popping with the deep greens and clear (cold) water. Lovely post PJ! ~Mary~
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

So you didn't go swimming there, I presume ;-) I'm not sure, perhaps I would have cropped the shore in the back out, to draw more attention to the kayak? Anyway, I like this image very much, it reminds me of a summer camp many years ago!

Ha its just waiting for me to jump in and set off. Then I am would sit in the middle of the lake and admire the scenery. The colours in this are wonderful PJ, its somewhere I could sit all day.
Very nice indeed! I'd just love to take that kayak for a spin! There's nothing better that a kayak, or canoe along the shore of a lake like that!
Thanks for sharing!
Awesome colors...my dad has been waterwater kayaking for over twenty years, so I'm sure he would appreciate this. It kind of has a "solitary" mood to the shot...very nice!
Sorry to all...I haven't been commenting as much as I would like to lately. I'm a 9 to 5er again (actually more like 8:15 to 7:30 these days!!) Don't worry, I still see all of your wonderful posts, if only for a second.
Oh, yeah! I saw this and had to comment. Wonderful, PJ. It so reminds me of my sweet Lake Morey. And that shock of blue adds just the right accent. I'll pretend it's a canoe, lol.

This is probably one of the most fantastik shots I have ever seen of a kayakanoe Lil PJ. :) Really this is a beautifully perfect shot. (I love the birch trees :)

This is just great. I saw, that you focused on the little boat, made it your subject, but the water and the mountains made the whole composition perfect.

I have ALOT of catching up to do and it will take some time but meanwhile this one caught my eye...a peaceful quiet getaway and that blue is very striking...nicely done, PJ.
