I say this very very humbly - since you are undoubtedly 1000x better at this than I am - but I think the contrast of the light on her nose in the portion near her right eye (right from her perspective) makes her nose seem too large when you just glance at it. Still - amazing work - kind of saddening how much a person can be changed (how much actresses/models are changed) by makeup and additional photo editing.
That is too neat. I wish I had something like that to use in real life on myself. That would be the ticket. I think this is a great image that you have shown here. Lovely work again.
I can't fault it...The subject is very flattering and natural looking....The work you have done is accurate and well executed...Well done...All the best...Mick.
Great change and improvement - I'm not meaning the cosmetic improvements on the model's face- but the removal of the blue cast, the more natural colors.
Wow...Unbelievable!!I have always wondered how God managed to create women so perfectly when I see photos in magazines...That explains it all!!How did you do it??Would love to take a photograph of mine and transform it the way you did!!
This is an excellent work. There are many paid & freeware programs to color correct images, but one of the best & easiest that I tried of them all is an older one from my mustec scanner cd.
You can simply open up the color correct section, & back off the blue a bit. Most image editors add a blueish, reddish, or greenish cast when adjusting the RGB controls, but iPhoto Plus 4 does an outstanding job.
It seems ONLY bring out more or less of the Red, Green, or Blue in images depending on if you hit plus or minus. This is wonderful when you are NOT trying to make the entire image Red, Green, or Blue, but just want to subtract or add to the Red, Green, or Blue already present in the image without affecting any other areas (IE, blue skies bluer...) In addition, it also can lighten a dark image (RGB controls in iPhoto can make a dark image lighter like daytime with less mess-up than even contrast or brightness controls can whether using other image editors, or iPhoto contrast or brightness, although the contrast & brightness in iPhoto is quite excellent also).
Surprisingly, I have only found 1 or 2 other picture correction utilities out of the hundreds I have tried that are even able to do what iPhoto does.
This is remarkable, considering that iPhoto is quite old & the newer pay & freeware tools don't seem to do anywhere near as good...
To rip, insert your mustek scanner cd.
Install software only (no driver).
Go to your C:/Program Files/iPhoto folder & zip it up.
Use NSIS ZIP2EXE function to easily pack it into an installer. NSIS compression is quite good when using LZMA + Solid, & sometimes makes your files from 3 to 30 times smaller, depending on what type of content is used.
Text style files have much greater compression ability than already compressed files like MP3.
The best icon extractor I have used is Batch Icon Extractor (free). Used in conjunction with Win/Rar self extractor, you can make awesome self extracting executables (running things portably on a thumbdrive).
To make your self-extractors smaller, use winrar to browse to the folder you wish to use, rar it at best compression + solid and then convert to an SFX package.
Extract Now is a free utility that does the best job of extracting massive amounts of zip & rar files without worrying about overwriting anything with the same name inside zips. Each zip or rar is given its own folder.
Although it supports many formats, & 7Z is listed, all the 7Zips I tried will not work in Extract Now, but it does work wonderfully with the others like zip, iso, rar, etc.
In addition, you can use iPhoto 4 to create custom calendars, etc....
