Alexis - if I had to hazard a guess as to why it erupted i'd have to say that Kliuchevskoi is a volcano and it's in their nature to do that from time to time :-)

not nearly as much as you'd think - they have very good search engines relating generally or to specific missions so if you know what kind of image your after it's pretty easy to find. what with working 14 hour shifts at work, sleeping, eating and coming on here theres not much time for exhaustive trawling :-)
