We went to the beach one evening on our mission trip to Mississippi for Hurricane Katrina relief... this is sunset on Dauphin Island,Alabama,Gulf of Mexico. The waves were a little high, and i got somewhat wet standing in them to get this shot! =)

This is the allure of the beach...it can be so peaceful one day, and devastating the next. And just like that, it's back to being peaceful again. You've definitely captured that...great job!!

On a mission of mercy, to be able to enjoy the surroundings that devastated a whole region, it must have been an emotional trip for you to stand there and feel the water around you and take this wonderful composition. Thanks for sharing what must have been a total immersion of your innermost feelings. The depiction turned out beautifully.
