This fine gentleman is a switch man/ conductor on the East Texas Railroad. It is a 23 mile steam train ride that runs between the towns of Palestine and Rusk, Texas. It is an amazing ride. I highly recommend it anyone coming to Texas.

Does he work there all the live long day? Excellent black and white, Charles.

Super action shot, it must have been hard work, jumping off of the train and switch over the rail and jump back on. I can just imagine the wonderful ride that would be.

Good one of the switch man at work. Not difficult but a boring job it must be. Or does he come with the train and gets off shortly before the switch point?

Charles, the B&W is perfect for this type of shot, and could do well in the challenge. I have been on steam train ride, and it was fantastic.

Emptiness is not nothingness. It is simply the opposite of full of it.

A great shot of the worker on the railroad Charles. It is wonderful that they are able to keep these old trains running as tourist attractions. I love riding the trains.
