LOL!! He looks like he's stuck in the mud. Funny how they don't like it pointing at them. Jerry (Digicamman) made a very good point and said he doesn't like things pointed at him either.
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to repose. Trust me on this one, I live there ............The Lion...................... MY GALLERY - The Magical Mystery Tour
Can't grab a drink or take a bath anymore without some nosy photographer around! Good emotional content here! I like the way the major lines in the pic reinforce each other...the wing mirrors the rivulet, while the shadow of the bird provides a good counterpoint to the action. I would have cropped this one to avoid the territory of blurriness in the upper right...and then framed it with something neutral that also suggests motion.
Nice shot. A bit soft. OK for the wings moving fast to be blurred, but it is good to try to freeeze the body which is almost stationary. Also try taking the shot from a crouched postion. At the moment it looks like a tall human took the shot. It will make it more interesting to take it from the birds level.
