Good choice for a photograph Mike. I would just try to focus your camera a little more on the main subject as it is very slightly out, but the idea is good. well done! Patti

I can see why you choose this as a subject for your first nature shot. I'd recommend using a wider aperature to improve on your depth of field and focus. Also, if you hadn't already thought to do so, try using the macro setting on your camera for such close proximity work.
