This is a nice shot, but there's a few things gone wrong. Something was over processed. Look at the leaves along the bottom and by the bird. The colors don't quite seem to run together and they look very fuzzy. The smaller sizes aren't so bad but it's more and more apparent when you look at the larger sizes. The other thing I might mention is try to get the bird looking towards you or at least in a profile postition. (I understand how difficult that can be)

What a cute bird. I don't think we have any of those around here. I do think something went wrong on the technical end with this picture. It's really a shame because if it had turned out right it would be one awesome photo. The composition is great and I really like the colors and it even looks like the little guy may have something in his beak!

It may be time for your camera's insides to be cleaned or something.

Wow. What a yellow bird! This is certainly a nice shot composition-wise and with a bit of cropping ... but technically it is somewhat blurry ... looks like shake to me. Try a faster speed or higher ISO perhaps?

And something does seem to hage happened in the post processing. I am seeing severe posterization even in the thumbnail. Was this a really low res image to start with? Did something happen in upload and conversion to the various sizes?

-My Gallery- The virtue of the camera is not the power it has to transform the photographer into an artist, but the impulse it gives him to keep on looking. - Brooks Anderson
