i've been getting some real good luck in my backyard. there is a wooded area, and i set up a feeder.

Hi Mike, nice to see you back. Nice photo of old red belly, you have improved. I see a little noise and it could be more in focus. But definetly not a snapshot. keep up the good work.

Oh yes, I definitely see an improvement here. Whatever it is you're doing, keep it up. You have a good eye for composition, always have and now the subject is much clearer and more in focus. Nice to have you back!

Well captured! Never managed to photograph a woodpecker myself - had to use binoculars and 3x zoom wouldn't cut it!!

i want to thank you all for putting up with me during those trying times when i saw no reason to use a tripod.
gregg, jerry, pj, you all just kept plugging away telling me week after week that i was a mr. softy.
finally i made a breakthrough at another site and it all clicked. thanks to you all, and drbasil, use a tripod.
