Good clear picture, but what's with the streaks in the sky on the left?

This picture is striking but lighting leaves much to be desired. I would wait for a frontal illumination or a more diffused early morning or late afternoon sun (whichever the case may be) but you may not get the intense blue sky.

It could almost look like a portal to another dimension..very interesting

Thanks for the comments on the picture, I will consider them when taking later pictures. Yeah, I don't know what the streaks in the sky are - only the sky knows. This picture was not edited in anyway, so whatever the streaks are - they were in the sky.

Nice shot, Stephan! Althogh I do have to disagree about the lighting, I think the shadows is what makes the picture. Otherwise it's just a blah tower with a beautiful sky, but this puts some mystery to it. The streaks in the sky are also pretty cool, just goes to show how awesome our God is, right?
