He's checking to see if his pants are zipped. Nice shot. I grew up with these birds nearby but now have to go further out due to urban sprawl. Very unique call they have.

Sure, make me depressed as winter is on it's way here folks. Our winters are colder by far. We can see as cold as -50 degrees celcius here during our winters.
