Cold, Cold, Cold. -23F. Taken about 5 miles from my home. My heating bill, that month and the next, were way out of line.

That is one heck of a zoom lens to take this shot from home;-) Joking aside this is a wonderful shot Mike. Like the frozen mist in the air.

Like a lonely monolith standing against the elements! It dares Mother Nature to challenge it. I realy like the bench next to it. It seems to ask for some one to join it in it,s lonlyness. Very nice capture..

Although it's probably cold as all get out, I love when the mist forms frost patterns on the branches and twigs of the trees. Beautiful picture.

This is a lovely shot. Nice on the desktop too. The tree blossoms are so fragile appearing and almost look lite up - a perfect little tree. The super white snow sets off the whispy tree and lonely picnic bench. Pleasing image you've made...Thanks

You must have been out there a while to keep lens condensation from causing problems. Winter temperatures like this are common for my area as well and I know that winter photography can be tricky. Beautifual shot.
