This image is for Accipter (Mike). This image was taken the Great Smokey Mts. in Tennessee two years ago. I just got around to scanning it tonight. As we were walking the road after photographing some beautiful trees in their fall finery I heard the sound of running water. We couldn't see the waterfall from the road, but true to form, I went exploring through the underbrush. This is what I found. The leaves give an idea of scale.

I'm a sucker for waterfalls, like a lot of people I guess. Great shot.

I agree 100% with Keifer. Well done Mike on this long ago shot, I'm going to have to visit the Great Smokey Mts. and see what I'm missing! High Marks.

Excellent shot- the detail is wonderful. The border isn't a bad touch either. Thanks for sharing! ^_^

quite wonderful. Perfect shot, the picture is rock solid. The leaves are wonderful and the slow speed makes it fanatastic.
looking at your gallery, you have a great eye but I think the dark rich greens nail this. I think there is often a possibility of over exposure in this type of shot. You must be very proud of this one. (;-)
