This little rodent (Prairie Dog) was eating these flowers. He kept a watchful eye on me but didn't get overly excited when I was photographing him. He made a good subject in a beautiful setting.

what an adorable little creature! he looks so cute.. i love the look in his eye, heh.. he thinks he's not photogenic.. a contraire, you had made a wonderful image! i like the flowers as the natural frame for this little fellow's portrait.. the colours are so gorgeous and vivid, i can almost feel the scent of those beautiful pink flowers.. :) nice lightning, details and focusing as well!

This is a great picture. I don't know if you tried to get this image this exact way or if you were just shooting in hopes that something would turn out but this is amazing... There is a perfect balance of focused and out of focus flowers with the prairie dog being perfectly in focus. Having the subject just off center like this is great as well. I don't know if there is anything that could improve this composure. Great job!
