Oh! I get to be the first to comment!! The colour of this Dahlia is fantastic, but then too, that lovely soft mintish green on the curled petals is just fantastic. Your camera is so good...I envy you..hehhe..you even captured the reddish pollen in th3e center and all thos intricate yellow curly cues..just awesome Michael. One day I will have a camera that will take these grand macros too. I gotta sell some of my canvas paintings to pay for one tho..lol...and as always I ADORE your framing..its just perfect...thank you for posting such loveliness my friend...verena
Beautiful capture! Such a lovely shade of my favorite color. Very detailed and clear. The raindrops are such a nice touch and the framing is perfect. Great job.
I always enjoy seeing your photos of flowers Michael. This one is no exception of how you manage to capture the beauty of them. I love the color of this also. Thanks so much for sharing this with us.
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

The water drops make it look like a crying flower. Ahhh I cannot express my amazement for the complex nature of that dahlia. You captured it so well we can explore it till the last tiny detail. Excellent macro!
Lovely colors in this one. The pink really stands out against the green background. Focus on the leaves closer to the lens with the farther ones a little softer is great. Water droplets are always a nice touch to a flower macro. Lovely image all around!
