It is beautiful and well framed. I like how you tied the color red subtely into the frame and blurred the background so that the eye is not distracted by the background. VERY NICE!!

The Indian paintbrush is a beautiful and fascinating flower. I like how you captured it in such great detail Michael. I really like how there is a separate part of the bloom at the bottom. Great job of framing this out also. It really show off this amazing blossom. Thank you for sharing it with us :~)

As per usual Michael...this is by far not "just a flower image" !! Sheesh...give yourself a tiny bit of credit ok?...nothing wrong with feeling good about such a pretty flower capture. I love the colours of these plants and of course the way you used the colour to enhance the photo with the framing is, as always, just perfect. Have you ever thought of doing a bit of canvas painting? You have such a great eye for colours. I bet you coul paint up a storm too....THank you so much for this lovely posting my friend !!...............verena

The contrast between the red and green really makes this picture sing out. Nice work.

Very pretty image of a marvelous flower - a very striking red, which looks great on the green background. Your frame is a fine choice for the black background. Thanks for more beauty :>

Such a nice capture Michael. It looks so soft to the touch and that blazing red is so beautiful.

The detail in this composition is enough to blow you away. Even the finest of hairs on the flowers were caught by your camera. I especially like the detail just below the bloom. I could stare at and study such detail as this all day. Excellent post.
