It's about time you posted something. I was beginning to think your camera was broke. I love Meerkats. They are so captivating and cute. His face does show about about a 7 on the "torqued off" Richter Scale. Beautiful little creature. Nice capture.

Beautiful capture. I wonder that they would harm you or are they behind glass? They are nicely posed and inviting of word balloons with captions to tell us exactly what they are thinking, if they are thinking or merely responding to instinct. Funny that each creature seems to have it's own personality expressed in its actions, yet we are the only ones who can speak. And sometimes too much. Sorry I digressed. Your image brought out the words I was thinking. ;)

Why this is a perfect capture. Two lil mischief makers it looks like. The one looking your way, does look alittle disturbed - and the other one seems to wonder what's the matter with him :) Well composed clear photo. Nice details of the Meerkats pretty fur coats and their amazing expressions - the branch gives extra interest and texture to this view. I like the variety of shades of brown in this image. All round terrific job Michael. Thanks for sharing these interesting creatures :^>

Hi Mike, here is still another 'Photoimagery" shot once again and this one tells the great story of these mischievious little critters who love to run the show! I think they hail form the semiarid plains of South Africa, what darling things they are! You did an absolute marvelous job of capturing them for us, and thank you Mike, Sincerely, Marilyn

They really look funny. Maybe its the impression what Dysney gave. Lovely focus and comp except for that distraction of the grass.

These animals have to be the cutest of all Nature's critters. The soft background is excellent and doesn't distract from the subjects of the image. Oustanding work!!!

i;ve seen these little guys at the zoo but don't know anything about them. what really appeals to me is the color tone of the photo.....the background shades and the meerkat shades being so similar. great shot!

Amazing - like in Meerkat Manor on Animal Planet. I am impressed with your control of light and focus and the intensity of your subject matter.............Keep up the fantastic work and I wish you nothing but the best. (Would get rid of the diagonal straw though)

Handmaiden to history, chronicler of the mind and the heart, writing is humankind’s most far-reaching creation, it’s forms and designs endless. During the U.S. civil war, for example, a union soldier’s letter home was written in two directions to save scarce paper. In India an artisan made such limitation a virtue by inking an article’s bylines on grains of rice. And the words you are now reading were written on a computer equipped with some 800 styles of type. Yet the purpose of writing remains unchanged: to convey meaning, whether playful, mundane, or profound.
