This was taken at the San Diego Zoo, I began to take the shot, and as I clicked the shudder, the bear began to shake the water off. So when I looked down at the digital screen after I took the shot, I was kind of confused as to why there was a halo around the bears head, then I realized the luck of my timing.

Very well done Moe! I love the action of the water flying everywhere around his head. Beautiful job!

I am still extremely busy with projects but hopefully things should slow down by the end of the summer. Please know that I appreciate you all and will stop by and visit your images as often as I can. My best to all my friends. Sincerely, Carrie

The timing I think is perfect. It's not bad luck, but good luck that you took it when you did. I think the polar bear shaking the water off gives it character that you don't see in other images. I really enjoy this one.

Another great shot from the Zoo. Like I always say, "So often the photographer needs a little Lady Luck to wind up with such a nice action shot.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.
