Taking into consideration that it rains 360 days a year in Milford sound, this is a rare and spectacular photo. Thanks for posting! I was in Milford in '95, so it's nice to see this wonderful landscape again. Did you do the boat tour and see the dolphins and seals?

I think it's the dark shapes of the mountains and the dark grass in the foreground that make this one stand out for me. Wonderful color and a great view

This is one of the best pictures of Mitre Peak I have ever seen, and living in NZ I have seen a few :) You have captured the whole atmosphere of the place beautifully. Its a while since I have visited - makes me want to go back. I just dont like going through the Home tunnel to get there, so maybe I shall just put this on my desktop and pretend I'm there. Thankyou for such a great photo.
