Lovely photo. I wish I could figure out how to make a camera balance the darks of the foreground and the light of the sky better. Usually the foreground comes out too dark, and the sky looks washed out. Any suggestions?
Awesome. Not very often that a sunset picture catches my eye. The is too many of them and they are ussually all quite the same. The one has some good cloud formations, and some good colors and contrast between sky and ground. Good work on that one.
"A piece of toast with butter always lands butter side down, and a cat always lands on its feet. What happens if a piece of toast is tied butter side down to the back of a cat? Does it perpetually hover above the ground in indecision when dropped?"
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.

Great shot. A photographer friend of mine let me in on a trick for balancing sky and dark foreground.. also good for moon pictures. Take two photgraphs one exposed for the sky and one exposed for the foreground and merge the 2 in photoshop.
Majestic and breath taking!! Beautiful shot, beautiful view, beautiful work. I would love to visit just for the sunsets and sunrises. Thanks for this beauty.
