I havent posted on here in ages... this is a small shell which i found on a beach on the Isle of Skye. 300D, Tamron90mm. what do you think?

Glad to see you are posting. Shells have some beautiful colors in them. I would prefer this to have been in color. It's a nice black and white though. The center of the shell lost some it's focus but you nailed the left end of it. Keep posting. Nice work.

I really like this one in most respects. Placement of the subject is more or less perfect. The DOF and plane of focussing works out nicely IMHO. My only suggestion would be to use black in the borders as it would not take as much attention from the photo as I feel the grey does. (But that could be just me. ^_^)

Great image idea and composition. I'd like to see a little more depth of field though. Nice job.
