Little break from the fungi for two days. This is the first in a few pictures demonstrating water's amazing physical properties. Two forces are at work here - adhesion (the ability to cling to things) and cohesion (the ability to hold itself together). The lighting was perfect, as the sun popped out at the last second. Im really trying hard to break the 80 c-index barrier. Tell me what you think, and make sure to look at the hanging water droplet carefully = )

Nice David, I can see a bunch more blades of grass in the hanging droplet. Water is an excellent photo subject especially when it's like this!

excellent clarity and the use of dappling enhances this much....a good close-up and it sparkles.......good job!
