It's amazing. There seem to be grasshoppers everywhere and they all seem to be different. I like this, it is really a fresh look at an old critter, they have probably been around longer than human kind. Thanks for the dedication. I went looking for Grasshopper 1 in your gallery before realizing the other Grasshopper was mine. It takes a while when you get to be my age.
But let's shift the subject away from me and go back to your Gallery. I stand amazed at the beauty and talent . You certainly seem to be well traveled. In those travels you have picked up some very appealing images. It just goes to show the talent behind the camera.
Thanks for your comments on MY humble Grasshopper they truly are appreciated.
10 by me and in my favorites.
Nice shot Pierre. It is a bit blurry in full screen but looks great at smaller res. BTW I am pretty sure this is a cricket rather than a grasshopper - not the fatter body and the feelers on the front of the head.
Wow! Very nice comments for a so humble cricket... "practicing on the parallel bars for the Olympics" :-D
Think that at the beginning, I didn't want to upload this photo, because the cleanness was not sufficient. It is Michael's photo that decided me...
Thanks to all :-)
This is a great photo, regardless of the slight "fuzziness". What a great perspective. I love to be able to see these littlest of things up close and personal. It makes me appreciate the wonder of this world. Thanks for sharing!
What a crazy little hopper we have here, fine detail in this image. Good clean picture. Nice capture. Seems he really knows how to balance himself. Great work!
