So typical to Amsterdam. I like the angle, and reflections in the glass make it look even nicer.

A very nice urban scenery, I like the old-style lamps and the brick walls full of windows, so typical for the Netherlands but also for Northern Germany. But didn't you promise to show Ewa some pics from the redlight district, hahaha... Very good work from you, you captured the mood of the city very well and you did a good job with the lighting.

The reflections in the glass and the right angle and light really makes this an interesting photo, Pierre.

The reflections and the mood overall gets you a plus. But for me, the composition is not right, I'd like to see bit of the street too, to give it a warmer approach.
I'd say it's a very good pic, but it could have been better with some street on it. =o)

Hello Hukka. Thanks for your critic. I chose this angle to show the particular architecture in these old northern cities. You can see more classic composition on the other photos of my Amsterdam series :-)

Pierre, I haven't had as much time lately for commenting but I spotted this and just wanted you to know I think it's marvellous...I love the angle...somehow it really showcases both the architecture and the trees reflecting...much better than straight on...also love those street lamps...all in all, very nicely composed with warmth, charm, and lots of character.:Pat.

The new year is full of time. As the seconds tick away, will you be tossing time out the window, or will you make every minute count?

Spectacular. I love this with nothing but brick and glass, the life is in the reflected trees. The color and afternoon light is wonderful.

Did you edit the colour slightly? I love the slight hint of sepia - it adds character to this splendid image. Keep up the good work!

No editings. Just a correction of the contrast/lighting, as usual. Thanks Emerson :-)

Now this is well done. I love the reflections in this one. The shadows work a well in it also. I do think you should up the brightness and contrast a hair . but overal a exellent image Sir.

Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.
