Just fabulous, Pierre. Such wonderful faces. What an experience to have been able to go here and see all these wonderful things. I hope they haven't been too westernized.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

The capture of joy and delight in faces that have been so tested by time is magical and inspirational.
Eyes given life. Hearts given meaning.
The wind in their hair and scarves lets you know the direction salvation and hope arrives. The meager blooms held in hands pressed in prayer add a touch of celebration along with a scent of forgiveness and acceptance.
This is beyond a photo. It is a true representation of humanities ability to find hope and faith.
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Wow, talk about character on these womens faces...amazing..And look at those smiles...its a wonderful photo Pierre. I love scarves and they both have such a pretty coloured one on..V
Once again, I love the faces you have captured here. They are "hardy, rugged" faces that speak tons. Their expressions are priceless. The score should be higher. Hope I get it in the VB.
