This beautiful little guy was so well disguised among the grass it took me a while to figure out he was there. One of my friend spotted him during my recent trip to Kodachadri in Western Ghats Jungle. There was a snake which had came to hunt to him, but it ran away as my friend approached near. This cute little guy stayed back and gave me some pose. I wanted to remove the top part of the image and crop it, but felt that, it would be a injustice to his excellent camouflage. So I decided to present the image as it is. All comments are welcome.

This is an incredibly well focused shot! Every detail of the lizards head and body seem exceptionally sharp. Surely not easily accomplished in such an environment. For documentary purposes this does indeed do your subject justice, but for desktop wallpaper the other crop is better.

I saw this in the VB and did not see the lizard!! I just said to myself "Nice Grass" He is really hidden and I would have never noticed unless you said something. Great image!

Wonderful focus on the lizard, I'm surprised it stayed still long enough for you to get this shot. Unusual toe placement on its hind legs, interesting little guy though. A very nice capture.

Ohhhh I never noticed him til just now! I have seen this photo before...but never realized waht I was looking for. This is absolutely magical...such pretty colours in the grasses. Just look how that little llizard is balancing on the grasses!! how sweet he is. Love this....very much...Verena
