This is a kind of wild grass that grows on the slopes of mountains in Western Ghats. Took this photo during the recent trekking to Kodachadri mountain.

I would agree with Jimbob. Nice work! I would like to see how it would look without the little bit of in focus grass on the left. It is just a little distracting. This one would look great in a vertical crop too. Looking at the back ground it seems you may have some great mountain vistas to show us one day.

Great focus on the stalk of grass, would look better if you'd crop out the grass on the left. Nice job, thanks for sharing.
