This is the World famous Jog Falls. I had taken the earlier image Splash and Ripple from top of this falls. Its summer and the falls is dried up, Monsoon is when it looks gorgeous, enjoy

That sure is a gorgeous place and falls, P. This is a nice picture with good textures in the rocks, but I think it could use a little more contrast. Very nice composition, and it still looks scary from where you are. LOL.

Well Prashanith, I like it this way also, I can see rainbows in the falling water. Get capture. That is a really high falls and thanks so much for the links. It sure is amazing the difference between the wet and dry seasons.

A wonderful capture nicely detailed. Good textures on the rock faces and nice perspective of the falls. I imagine it would be absolutely deafening following the Monsoon season. Good job Prashanth.

Some day, hopefully not too far into the future, I need to make a visit here. The falls look scary and good at the same time and thanks for sharing this picture. Make sure you post some after the rains! Like Jim pointed out, I think a bit more contrast will unflatten and bring out more of the textures in the rocks.
