Flowers have important place in Hinduism. Every morning the Gods are decorated with flowers and Worshiped by chanting Vedic mantras. This can be seen commonly in temples and houses. My backyard (in my native) has quite a good collection of flowering plants. Took this photo on 12th Jan 2010 in my house early morning. I sneaked in with my camera to take this photo of the flowers that were collected that morning, before the flowers were offered to the Gods. Thanks for everyone who has been so helpful and guiding me on how to improve my work.
