Burude Falls or Illimane Falls or Dodmane Falls is near Kyadgi, on Siddapur to Kumta route, Karnataka, India. This is a five step water falls. The first step of the waterfall has an amphitheater sort of setting where people can sit and watch the glorious waterfall and feel the mist rushing towards them. On the other side after a serious climb down you will get to see the other end of the waterfall. And the last stretch of this waterfall can only be heard from here. One can climb down to the edge of the rock to see it partially, but climb down is very tough. The falls can also be reached by trekking from the Unchalli waterfalls along the stream.

Fantastic looking shot of the falls, P. I can almost hear the roar of the water. Nice color and lighting. Well done.

Adrienne, Burude falls is a different falls from Unchalli falls. Burude falls forms from the same river and it is further down the Unchalli falls.

Ahhhhh it must sound awesome there! I love this photo and the majestic feelings it gives. That's quite some rock formation too. I like the way you capture the water movement so it is't just a 'streak of white.' Lovely photography Prashanth. Verena

Now, to my tastes, this is moving water just right. I like having the spray (that usually I can smell and feel) shown in beauitful detail. The air in front of my computer actually feels fresher just looking at this one!
