what kind of insect IS that? i don't think that's a fly, i don't believe they have anything to do with flowers. but i've never seen a green bee, either. overall i like this, good composition, it has a really strong foreground and background, the only thing holding this back really is the quality of the image, which is limited by your camera.

Great composition. I personally don't care for the shadow that covers half of your flower. And the bee isn't quite in total focus. But still, nice shot!
