I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Inspired capture. The scene looks magical - like heading towards something unknown. The brilliant sunlight is lovely shining through the background trees. The trees dominate this shot in the best way. Are some Redwoods? Very good composition, details and colors - and the wonderful textures of the bark, moss and dirt path. Excellent work Clayton!
Absoluely gorgeous. This caught my eye and when I enlarged it I had an instant peaceful feeling...I can almost see myself walking that path. Excellent capture.
Oh wow this is so beautiful! I love the light shining through the trees up ahead...It makes me want to follow the path straight to it to see whats around the corner. This is going right to the favorites folder! :)

How lovely it is when unexpected blessings come into my life to cheer me up and put a smile into my heart. Help me to pass them on, dear Lord. Fay Angus
Beautiful Image, really captures the mood when standing amongst these GIANTS ... I am currently negotiating a trip to Muir Woods (north of SFO) .. where they say the redwoods are this magnificent ... I hope I can find my tripod before then
Back in 1981 .. I took a solo motorcycle trip from where I live (50 miles east of SFO) .. south, down highway 1 .. I spent the night in the wild next to Laguna Speedway (behind fort Ord in monterey) ... and I also slept out in Big Sur ... When I'm out riding, I always notice little nooks and crannies where I can go off-road, out of sight (for the night) ...
I found such a place in Big Sur, parked my motorcycle (honda 900) out-of-view of the road .... trouble is .. my campfire could still be seen .. and I looked towards the road just as brake lights lit up .. a cop car .. he backed up and came in to have a few words with me ... after a few questions and idle chit-chat he informed me that due to Big Sur's propensity for catching on fire I would have to extinguish my campfire
I informed him that I used to be a Boy Scout .. :o) ... he said .. "let me put it this way" .. "put the fire out, or go to jail" ... I had to turn in early that night since you can't do much in pitch blackness .... I had to turn around about 20 miles south of Big Sur .. I ran short of funds since I hadn't planned well .. and I just hit a gas station selling gas for 2.50 a gallon (1981) .. Gorda, I think it was ... so I calculated that I couldn't afford anymore surprises .. So I headed home
