This is a scene from a Village in Sri Lanka. At these rural areas still Bullock carts are used to transport goods to close distances. This cart is transporting firewood.

This is a great scene Priyanthab. It is an interesting snapshot of daily Sinalese life. It is bunged full of interesting 'episodes' to look at and enjoy. The composition is really top class. My only criticism is that your borders are uneven. but that is a small point for an image that is great overall.

Priyantha, this is a very pleasing and well composed image. The subjects are accented nicely by the lead-in road. Well done. I cannot help but think of the devestation suffered there, which is off this subject; sorry. Great capture. - Patty

Great shot. I think you have shared with us a slice of Sri Lankan life here in this shot. The composition as always is very good, and the vivid colours of your homeland have been captured nicely here. It makes sense to have an uneven border if the taskbar covers half of the bottom section... but maybe some people hide the task bar?! i dont know why it should be a problem .. it is a good idea in my opinion.

It is a lovely rural shot. Well composed. I don't entirely agree with the comment about the frame. Proper photo framing should always have more space at the bottom, but a bit more at the top, here, would have been more balanced. Well done.

Hi Pryantha, my what a shot! Very good, and once again you have shared with us so much of your beloved Sri Lanka! Just think, (we have discussed this previously), how fascinated I am with talking to someone so terribly far away, namely yourself! I know that Sri Lanka is off the south eastern tip of India, just imagine Priyantha, incomprehensible, isn't it! You have taught me much through your great photography! However, I am still mostly impressed with how helpful you are and have been to those in need, since the horrific tsunami! Wonderful indeed! Keep drinking that marvelous tea, especially the green tea! LOL! Teasing you! Nice work, Sincerely, Marilyn

Nice capture - I grew up pretty much only in the city, so I don't really remember those kind of village scenes. The scenery is beautiful here!

Great every day life image that presents a very different lifestyle, very nicely composed and so much to watch. A most interesting and beautiful picture Priyantha, many colors and greenery that compliment your subject.

What a fabulous photo, it’s full of life and interest. I imagine that the pace of life here is a little less hectic than in my country. I like the offset borders, they leave room for the taskbar.
