3 hours in CS2. (I love my wacom) First I took a pic of my self to get and idea of the lights and shapes. Well its almost me. he he but Im not bold. p.s The drawing is done in quite a brighted monitor setting so it might appear too dark in ur monitor.

I love it!! one of your best yet.. the face looks great.. and lighting is exceptional. i like the dramatic lighting - it looks like using a reference photo really payed of for this one.

You have created substantial mood with your colourations and creative efforts on this piece.
And true say, I did adjust my monitor somewhat, and a lot of detail was revealed without taking away from the original ambiance and feel.
Caveats? Well, you know me ... I always have something to say ... joking a little here ... some adjustments in facial proportions I think are required. It may just rest with me, but it looks as though your image here was flattened somewhat, horizontally speaking. Not greatly, mind you ... just some.
Just took a closer look and the thought came to mind that perhaps with the light source intensity, it might be creating an optical illusion of sorts. Not sure, but as always just some thoughts.

p.s. And as an aside ... one; your 'signature' on this piece is very professional. And two ... I trust that this commentary will find you well.
