I looked very quickly at the front page of the New Images (should be getting on with other things) and was just starting to scroll away when I did a doubletake and scrolled back.
"What was that yellow tulip??"

I was not disappointed either - lovely shot.

Wow. That's all I can say. This is soft but not out of focus (where it's important that is). The lighting is absolutely gorgeous! Into my faves for sure!

I gave this one a 9 in the booth (I didn't give it a 10 only because I didn't get to make the shot myself) ;^>. Scott Kelby is a nationally known, professional photographer and author of a number of excellent books on digital photography, Photoshop, and Elements, and if you were to read his sections about photographing flowers and macro photography, you'd have a good grasp of his loosely-bound lists of do's and don'ts. You'd also realize that this photo of yours would score very highly with Kelby. Very nice shot.

Really stands out among all the "blue", "green", & "ordinary" wallpapers I have in my collection.

Striking, but welcome contrast to the nearly over-used methods & colors shown in pictures by most other photographers!

Excellent subject matter, & way of presenting it!

Yeah - I agree with humbleman. This image really stands out from the pack of flower photos. Most people assume that because a flower is in focus it's beautiful. They neglect the rest of the image which is almost as important as the subject. Tch, tch, tch. You really take them to school with this image. Well done.

Breathtaking... in my favorites. Normally I don't like centered points of focus but you definitely pulled it off... I love this shot!

A definite favorite and a warm, bright, and lovely change on my desktop. Wonderfully done photo which for me, evokes strong memories of the scent of a tulip... Good memories at that- thank you.
