I stumbled upon this swan near the lake making / fixing up the nest, not seen one before.... quite a great moment.

She is lovely.. I really like what you have done to the edge, draws the eye directly to the swan.. Wondeful image..

Don’t they choose some odd places to nest? I can’t say I blame you for not fishing that can out of the water:-) The edge treatment looks good in the thumbnail. It’s an interesting and pleasing photo.

What a magical photo! To even SEE this as you did, and to be able to photograph it and just relish it...wow...you did the "framework" just right...oh my...that swan just looks too perfect to be real...very verylovely...you are very fortunate to have seen this....

This is absolutly wonderful. Definatly a favorite from me, and one of the few 10's I give out. I really love it when people can take a great photo of an animal, its rare that I want one on my desktop.

Nice shot, never saw a swan nesting before, but I must say that I don't like what you did with the borders. It makes the picture a bit cliché
